本研究は,A県内の中・高年者における健康意識について,生活に対する満足感,自分自身の健康状態の感じ方および健康に対するイメージの実態から検討した.40歳〜79歳までの674名(男性45.5%,女性54.5%)に質問紙による無記名,留め置き法による調査を行った.その結果,健康状態をよいとする中年・高年者は,ともに7割以上であった.生活に対して満足と回答した割合は,中年者が7割,高年者は8割以上であり,高年者が有意に高かった.また,健康状態をよいと感じる人は,生活に対する満足感も高かった.中年,高年者が健康のイメージとして「食事がおいしくたべられる」「年齢に応じた体力がある」をあげる割合が高かった.健康状態の感じ方と健康イメージとの関連をみると,中年者では健康状態をよい感じるほど「食事がおいしくたべられる」を選択し,高年者では,「年齢に応じた体力がある」を選択し,健康状態の感じ方により,健康に対するイメージが異なることが示唆された. |

In this study, in order to clarify the level of health consciousness among middle and advanced-age persons in "A" prefecture, we evaluated degree of life satisfaction, personal health condition, and perceptions of healthiness. 674 persons (male 45.5%, female 54.5%) ranging from 40 - 79 years old were surveyed anonymously using the placement method. More than 70% considered their own condition of health to be good. The rate of life satisfaction was 70% in those of middle age, but more than 80% in those of advanced age, significantly higher. Furthermore, those who were satisfied with their condition of health tended to be satisfied with their life. The most commonly given perceptions of healthiness were "Being able to enjoy a meal" and "Having good physical strength for one's age". Regarding the relationship between personal health condition and perceptions of healthiness, of those who considered themselves to be in good health the middle-aged group selected "Being able to enjoy a meal" while the advanced-age group selected "Having good physical strength for one's age". This suggests that perception of healthiness differs according to one's personal health condition. |
