More than 70% considered their own condition of health to be good. The rate of life satisfaction was 70% in those of middle age, but more than 80% in those of advanced age, significantly higher. Furthermore, those who were satisfied with their condition of health tended to be satisfied with their life. The most commonly given perceptions of healthiness were \"Being able to enjoy a meal\" and \"Having good physical strength for one's age\". Regarding the relationship between personal health condition and perceptions of healthiness, of those who considered themselves to be in good health the middle-aged group selected \"Being able to enjoy a meal\" while the advanced-age group selected \"Having good physical strength for one's age\".
