| 内容記述 | がん化学療法治療後48時間までの排泄の援助において, 看護師の抗がん剤曝露防護のための防護具の活用状況を明らかにすることを目的に質問紙調査を行った. 500名から回答があり, 40％が外来化学療法室に勤務していた. 排泄の援助場面において防護具を使用する割合は60～70％程度であった. そのうち, 適切な組み合わせで使用している割合は, トイレ介助時で約30％, オムツ処理時で約50％, 留置カテーテル尿処理時で約10％, ストーマ処理時で約50％であった. 適切に曝露防護具を使用していない現状が窺われた. 抗がん剤取り扱いに関する院内のガイドライン活用と使用防護具の種類数に関係はなかったが, がん化学療法看護の認定看護師は資格のない看護師よりも, 曝露防護具を適切に使用していることが推測された. 曝露防護の意識を高めるには, 必要性の根拠を明示した上で, その方法を示していくことが必須である. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| 内容記述 | The purpose of this study was to investigate which kind of PPE (personal protective equipment) could be used to prevent occupational exposure to antineoplastic agents which nurses use when caring of excretion for patients who have received chemotherapy for cancer in the past 48 hours. A total of 500 nurses responded to questionnaires. Forty percent of the nurses worked in an outpatient chemotherapy center. About 60 to 70％ of nurses had used PPE. About 30％ of nurses who had used PPE when caring of toilet used it properly. About 50％ of nurses who had used PPE when changing a diaper had used it properly. About 10％ of nurses who had used PPE when disposing the urine from patients who had an indwelling catheter used it correctly. About 50％ of nurses who had used PPE when disposing of the excretion from a stoma used it properly. Therefore, the PPE was not used correctly in a larger percentage of cases. However, the data suggested that Certified Nurses in Cancer Chemotherapy Nursing were more likely to use PPE correctly than other nurses when changing a diaper or disposing of the urine from patients with an indwelling catheter. In order to raise awareness of preventing occupational exposure to antineoplastic agents, it is necessary to not only show the methods for how to use PPE, but also to show the evidence about how often PPE is not used, and how often PPE strategies is not used correctly. |
