The AT cut quartz odor sensor was used to decrease the noise of temperature and the dimethvl sulfide was used as a target gas with discomfort odor. Moreover, the cholesterol film was used ;s the sensing film deposited on the quartz surface for the detection of the dimethyl sulfide. The experimental results are summarized as follows. 1) The flow velocity has a strong effect on the performance of the quartz odor sensor.
