明治・大正時代の女学生や婦人達に影響を与えた,教育者下田歌子の書物から,家庭における看護について分析した.明治26年から明治39年までの書物の特徴として,病院は少なく看護師の教育は始まったばかりである.そのため,看護は家庭で行われるのが主流であり,その必要性から看護の方法が記載されていた.内容は,体温,脈拍測定や性状,嘔吐時の対応,清拭の方法など述べられている.明治39年以降は病院での施設看護の発展と伝染病予防に対する衛生の啓蒙活動等から,健康の保持増進・衛生について記載されるようになった.このように社会背景の変化によって,書物内容が変化していると考える. |

In this study research was undertaken into home nursing from the book of educator Utako Shimoda who influenced female students and women of the Meiji and Taisho Eras. One aspect discussed in the book is that there were few hospitals from Meiji 26 to Meiji 39, and nursing education had only just started. Therefore, nursing was primarily carried out in the home, and nursing techniques were recorded in answer to this necessity. Measurement and properties of temperature and pulse, treatment of vomiting, and blanket baths are amongst the techniques described. From Meiji 39, improvement in health and hygiene was indicated through the development of nursing in hospitals, and instruction in proper hygiene to prevent disease. The contents change as the social background does. |
