| 内容記述 | ケニアにおいて,KMTCの看護教員を対象にセミナーを実施した.またKMTCの地方校や実習病院でもある地方校を視察した.期間は2002年9月12日〜26日であった.セミナーでは,カリキュラム立案から教育評価までのプロセスを講義した後,教員と共にこのプロセスに基づき,教育内容の抽出までを行った.また視察では,KMTCを卒業後,看護師の即戦力として求められているケニアの現状を知った.KMTCの卒業生はケニアの看護師の90%以上を占めることから,ケニアにおける看護教員は,ケニアの看護職に対する社会的ニーズを捉えながら,学生の能力を適切に分析し,より自律的に教育に関わっていくことが必要であると考えられた. | |||||||||

| 内容記述 | From the 12^<th> to the 26^<th> of September, 2002, I conducted a seminar for KMTC teachers of nursing in Kenya, and visited KMTC local campuses and training hospitals. In the seminar I spoke on the process from curriculum planning to educational assessment, and later worked on a sample of the curriculum based on this process together with the teaching staff. From my observations I leaned about the situation in Kenya, where nursing graduates need to have the potential to adapt and to work hard. More than 90% of nurses in Kenya are graduates of KMTC. The teaching staff at KMTC must therefore understand the requirements of Kenyan society from the nursing profession, analyze the abilities of the students appropriately and be autonomously involved in education. | |||||||||
