「新たな職域」開拓は知的障害養護学校の進路指導や知的障害者雇用・就労において今日的課題になってきた.よって,本研究は知的障害者の「新たな職域」開拓の背景と動向を明らかにすることを目的とした.結果,「新たな職域」開拓は就職率の減少・低迷や産業構造の変化などが背景にあり,知的障害者雇用・就労支援施策の発展とともに課題になってきた.また,労働・福祉・教育分野の先進的取組は各分野や企業との連携が特徴であり,特徴的職域は介護業務と事務補助であった.今後,「新たな職域」開拓には発想の転換と組織的開拓が必要である. |

Exploration of new areas of work has become a modern issue in career guidance at schools for persons with intellectual disabilities and in work and employment of such persons. This paper looks into the background and directions in exploring new areas of work for the intellectually disabled. It has emerged as an issue of great concern with development of employment and work assistance programs for intellectually disabled persons, vis-a-vis the slowdown and decrease in the employment rate and in changes in the country's industrial structure. In addition, pioneering efforts in labor, welfare and education were characterized by partnerships with business enterprises. The typical areas of work had been nursing care and office work assist. Exploration into new areas of work in the future requires way of thinking change and organized action. |
