| 内容記述 | 障害のある子ども(孫)を持つ祖父母に対する支援は,通園施設における家族支援の重要な部分である.しかし祖父母に対する支援の重要性は,これまでの専門的な支援では軽視されている.本研究では,祖父母に対する支援について,通園施設を対象とした質問紙調査を行なった.また4人の祖父母に面接調査を行なった.この4人の祖父母は,障害のある子ども(孫)の養育上大きな責任を負っていた.質問紙の結果より,通園施設(n=11)は祖父母に対する支援を,個別的な相談や家庭訪問など様々な形で行なっていることが明らかにされた.4人の祖父母への面接からは,彼らが子どもの成長を強く願っていることや,子どもの将来に不安を抱いていることが明らかになった.また祖父母の言葉は,障害のある子どもの祖父母と親に対する専門的支援のあり方を考える上で,示唆的なものであった.質問紙調査と面接調査のデータを手がかりに,専門機関における祖父母支援の今後の方向性を考察した. | |||||||||

| 内容記述 | The role of grandparents in helping children with disabilities is an issue that has long been neglected despite its importance. The present paper reports the results of survey and interview research that was conducted with four grandparents who were playing a central role in helping their grandchildren with disabilities. The results indicated that the grandparents worried about the future of their grandchildren, even though a great deal of as sistance was provided by the institutions for children with disabilities. The paper concludes with several recommendations for improving assistance to the people concerned. | |||||||||
