筆者らは，中学生が現実社会で活用されている自動化技術システムの仕組み等を，実感を伴って学ぶ授業づくりを課題としてきた．これまでの研究においては，スマートグリッド（ICTを活用することで再生可能エネルギーの積極利用を図る次世代電力網）を題材にして，電力需給管理システムに埋め込まれた自動処理を手作業化することで，主な仕組みの理解とともに自動化の意義を学ばせることができた．
今回，コンピュータネットワーク上で双方向に連関し合う電力需給管理のコンピュータプログラムそのものに着目し，そうした技術システムがエネルギー資源の互恵的利用等に果たす社会的意義について学ぶためのプログラミング教材と指導法を開発した．本稿では，開発した教材ならびにそれを活用した授業の教育効果について実験授業を通して検証した．
The task of the authors was to create a lesson for junior high school students to learn about the mechanism of an automated technology system relevant in their everyday lives. Previous studies had enabled students to appreciate the significance of automation by manually pursuing automatic processing embedded in a smart grid power supply and demand management system.
For this lesson we focused on the electricity supply and demand management computer program itself which is a core part of the smart grid. We developed programming teaching materials and teaching methods that allow students to learn about programming through interacting with each other on a computer network. We also explored the social significance that such technology has in reciprocal utilization of energy resources. In this paper, we will examine and report on the teaching materials developed and educational effect of using them in the lesson. |
