ネパールにおいて, 障がい児(者) とその家族の生活の実態は充分把握されていない. 障がい児(者) とその家族の現状を知ることを目的に, カトマンドゥ郊外の郡内3市において, アンケート調査を聞き取り法にて行った. 調査は障がい児(者) ID (Identity Document) カード{障がい児(者) 証明書} 取得者で重度の障がい認定された児(者) とその家族を対象に実施した. 調査結果から, 障がい児(者)・家族が抱える問題解決には経済的支援としての手当てだけでなく, 介護支援・教育の機会・健康管理・地域とかかわりを持った活動・雇用へ繋げるための生活支援の必要性が示唆された. 加えて, 障がい当事者とその家族らがお互いの情報や現状を共有できる場をもつことや, 地域住民ともつながりを持ち, 相互理解を深めることは, 生活改善の方策として重要であることが同様に示唆された.さらに現在ある障がい児(者) ID カード制度の充実や普及による国の政策改善が望まれることを指摘した. |

Not enough is understood about the lives of Persons With Disabilities (PWDs) and their families in Nepal. A questionnaire survey was carried out in three cities in the suburbs of Kathmandu to know the situation of PWDs and their families. The targets of the survey were PWDs holding ID cards identified as having the most serious disabilities, and their families. As a result, it is found that not only financial support but also assistance with care, education opportunities, health management, social activities and employment are needed in order to improve the life of PWDs. In addition, it was found that there needs to be a platform for exchange and sharing idea or information with each PWD and their family, to connect with the local community to improve mutual understanding each other. The use of ID cards will increase and the system will improve. A change of local and national policy is clearly necessary. |
