省エネルギー社会実現に向けた啓発活動は，東日本大震災以後のわが国が取り組むべき最重要課題の一つである。エネルギー資源の無駄を実感できる光害は，そのなかで中心的な役割を占める題材である。またきれいな星空や都市の夜景を観光資源と捉えると，光害は地域振興の観点からも興味深い。光害に関する啓発活動を始める上での第一歩は，光害の度合いを簡単に測定でき，啓発活動のための教材作成も容易にできるという特徴を持つ装置の開発である。そのような特性を持つ装置として，我々は固定型の「星空カメラ」の開発をおこない，それを利用した光害教材を作成した。本論文ではこれらの概要について報告するとともに，環境教育と地域振興の観点から光害教材が今後に果たす役割について考察をおこなう。 |

After the Great East Japan Earthquake, awareness campaign towards energy-saving social realization is one of the main issues in Japan. As light pollution can realize to understand the wasteful expenditure of energy resources, it plays a central role for the awareness campaign. Moreover light pollution is also interesting from a viewpoint of regional improvement, because a night view of beautiful starry sky or a night scene of city is regard as the resource of the tourist attractions. The first step for the awareness campaign about light pollution is to develop a equipment with the feature that the degree of light pollution can be measured easily. For this purpose, we develop the “starlit sky camera” of the fixed mount type, and create the light pollution teaching materials. In this paper, we report outlines of these topics, and consider possibilities of the light pollution teaching material from a viewpoint of environmental education and regional development. |
