| 内容記述 | The purpose of this study is to investigate the development of self consciousness in a child with Down's syndrome. For this purpose, communication notebooks between his mother and teacher were analyzed. His mother had recorded utterances which he produced during four years, namely, from the first grade to the fourth grade of a normal elementary school. Those utterances were useful for analyzing self consciousness. I found six aspects of self consciousness, namely, recollection, confirmation of the present state, intention, plan, view of future, combination of those. The confirmation of the present state was subcategorized into five sorts. There were clear developmental changes in recollection and plan. The results suggest that the potentiality of development of self consciousness in children with Down's syndrome should not be ignored.本研究の目的は,一人のダウン症児の自己意識の発達を解明することである｡そのために,彼の母親と教師間で の連絡帳が分析された｡4年間,すなわち通常小学校の1年生から4年生までの間に彼が発した言葉を,母親は連絡 帳に記録していた｡それらの言葉が,自己意識の発達を明らかにするための手がかりとなった｡筆者は,自己意識 について6つの側面,すなわち回顧,現状規定,意向,行動予定･見通し,将来展望,これらの組み合わせを捉え ることができたO現状規定は,4つの種類に下位分類できた｡回顧と行動予定･見通しについては,明瞭な発達的変 化を確認できた｡これらの結果は,ダウン症児における自己意識の発達可能性を無視してはならないことを示唆し ている |
