助産師学生に対して,感染予防の重要性を認識させるためのひとつの試みとして,手指の洗浄法を演習の中に取り入れた.培養という簡単な方法を用いたが,目に見えない微生物の存在を認識することで,清潔・不潔という概念を視覚的に捉えることができ,感染予防を考えるうえで有効であった. |

We introduced hand-washing methods as practical training for midwifery students, to improve their awareness of the importance of infection prevention. The method was a simple one of bacterial culture, but through raising awareness of the existence of microbes invisible to the eye the principles of cleanliness were able to be perceived visually. This was effective from the point of view of infection prevention. |
