基礎看護技術「罨法」に関する用語の知識,および経験状況を把握するために学生のレディネスを確認する調査を行った.本研究の対象は,本短期大学部2年生79名である.質問項目には罨法の講義を理解するのに必要な用語,計47語を設定した.調査用紙は63名から回収された(回収率79.7%).その内容を集計した結果,「意味まで知っている」の人数の割合が高かった用語は,『湯たんぽ』『腋窩動脈』などの物品名や解剖生理学的な用語であった.「意味は知らないが言葉は聞いたことがある」の人数の割合が高かった項目は,『知覚麻痺』『熱伝導率』などであった.「知らない,聞いたことがない」の人数の割合が高かった項目は,『罨法』『貼用』などのいわゆる看護の専門用語に関するものであった.また,学生の経験率が高かった項目は『発熱』『冷湿布』であり,低かった項目は『血栓』『巴布(poultice)』であった.学生のレディネスを把握することで,学生の「罨法」に関する用語の認識度や経験の有無を教員が把握でき,学生の間違った知識を訂正するために授業案を修正することができると考えられた.また今後は,理解の不足している項目の指導について,罨法と他の講義とどのように連動させていくかが課題であることが示唆された. |

We carried out a study to investigate the readiness of students through assessing their knowledge of compress vocabulary and level of experience. The subjects were 79 students from this college. They were assessed on a total of 47 words necessary to understand lectures on the compress. Questionnaires were collected from 63 students (return rate 79.7%). The items which scored highest on "Meaning understood" were name of compress goods or anatomical vocabulary such as bedpan and axillary artery. Items such as anesthesia and thermal conductivity, scored highly on "Meaning not understood but have heard the word". Items which scored highly on "not heard and not understood" were the so-called specialist nursing terms such as compress and chou-you (application of compress). The students had a high level of experience of pyrexia, cold compress, and a low level of experience of thrombus and poultice. As a summary, this investigation was effective in adjustment of teaching plan. And, it is suggested how lecturing of compress and item with an insufficient understanding are cooperated. |
