内容記述 | This study clarified the awareness of the problem and con teaching Judo in junior high school physical education. A questionnaire survey was conducted with ten junior high school physical education teacher (seven men and three women), among which two people had Judo experience as athletes and eight had no experience. The following aspects were the number average of Judo lesson in one unit was nine or ten and there was no relationship with teachers’ Judo experience. The teacher deemed that the students should learn the following content in Judo classes : high score group included safety and judo falling techniques, martial arts manners and respect attitude toward the partner, and rule compliance. The upper middle score group include Judo history and tradition, responsibilities for judo falling techniques, basic motion, ability to think, ability for problem solving. The lower middle score group included knowledge and contrivance, throw techniques, ground fighting techniques. The low score group included applied skills and referee regulations. The notable aspects of Judo teaching in physical education (PE) first included safety issues such as safety consciousness, teaching break falls, safety checks of facilities and the practical use of teaching tools for safety. Second they comprised teaching ingenuity including the technical dimention of organizing step-by-step learning or the use of information and communication technology (ICT), the mentall dimention of martial arts manners, consideration for partners, enjoyableness of Judo, cleanliness and plastic surgery as grooming. The problems and consciousness for Judo teaching in PE included the following four categories : facility problems, teaching problems, accountability toward students’ parents and others. Facility consciousness concerned whether there is sufficient space for the Judo gym (Jyu-dojyo), and coordinating off time for replace traditional mats (tatami). The teaching prodlems and consciousness included step-by-step learning, teaching material ingenuity, good demonstration of experienced Judo student support for low skill students, and support for low skilled and lack of fitness level students. Regarding explanations to parents, accountability included explanations on Judo wear shopping and on students’ injury. "The category at others" included hygiene measures related to COVID-19. | |||||
