A visualization method asked students to visualize the scene while listening to the music, while a singing-and-hands-clapping method was the one in which students sang and clapped hands to the music. The target music students listened to in this study was Blacksmith\u0027s Polka composed by Josef Strauss. The results of the analysis of questionnaires showed that there was indeed a significant difference in the degree of understanding the tunes and organization of the music between the two methods. However, there was no difference in emotional involvement between the two groups.
