平成29年改訂の小学校学習指導要領で第4 学年理科に加わった学習単元「雨水の行方と地面の様子」の学習内容の理解を大学生に深めさせるため，筆者らは礫や砂への水の浸透モデル実験教材を開発し，教育実践を行った．学生により実施された簡易透水試験としての「実験」の結果を考察したところ，グループ間で測定結果に差異が見られた原因は，試験容器内への注水にかかる時間の差異，受水槽内に流出した水による水面の変動に伴う流出水量の読み取り誤差が考えられた．改善策として，容器内への注水時間をそろえるために注水器具を追加すること，受水槽内の水面の変動に伴う読み取り誤差については，ろ過の手法を想起させることが挙げられた．これらのことを踏まえ，児童実験用のモデル実験装置を開発し性能評価を行ったところ，測定結果の差異を低減できることを確認できた． |

We have developed new teaching material for undergraduate school students as preservice elementary school teachers in a science class that is related to the permeability test to enable them to understand the study content related to rainwater on the ground. In the science education class, we instructed the students on how to use the apparatus and collected the results of the tests performed by the students and made of a note of their opinions while they were engaged in conducting the test. By analyzing the records of the class, we identified some points for improvement the manner in which the teaching material could be used. Based on these findings, we propose creating teaching material for elementary school students that is related to permeability. |
