The individual transition support plan has been developed as a new system in the field of special school career guidance. The objective of this research is to examine the process of research and development of the individual transition support plan, and to clarify its roles and characteristics. I have organized the research and development process for the plan into the following four categories: 1) preliminary work, 2) initial draft, 3) final draft, and 4) practical application. In making the shift to special support education, the individual transition support plan is considered an integral part of the individual education support plan at the high school level. The individual transition support plan is expected to play an important role in facilitating social participation following high school graduation. |
