| 内容記述 | The author carried out a questionnaire research on understanding of the tsunami generated by the 2011 off the Pacific coast of Tohoku Earthquake; the questionnaire was done for high school students. The author found different responses to the questions related to mechanism of generating earthquakes and tsunamis among students in Shikoku area. Concerning liquefaction, another difference in responses was found between the students in Kanto and Shikoku areas. The students prefer promoting research of earthquake prediction to preventing disasters. | |||||||||
