| 内容記述 | 集中治療室(intensive care unit ; ICU) における呼吸理学療法の重要性がますます認識されるようになってきた. ICU での呼吸理学療法は, 種々の疾患患者に対して実施され, 様々な手技が用いられる. その効果として, 肺機能の 改善に伴い呼吸器合併症の発生を予防し死亡率を低下させ, 長期的なアウトカムを改善することが期待されている. これらの期待される効果について, 多くの検討がなされエビデンスの構築が図られている. 本総説では, ICU で用い られる呼吸理学療法手技の対象疾患, 方法, 禁忌ならびに注意点, 効果およびそのエビデンスについて言及する. |

| 内容記述 | The importance of respiratory physical therapy in intensive care units (ICUs) is increasingly being recognized. In the ICU, a range of respiratory physical therapy techniques are applied in the treatment of patients with various diseases. The effects of respiratory physical therapy that may be expected in ICU patients include the prevention of respiratory system complications, the improvement of lung function, a decreased mortality rate, and better long-term outcomes. In the present study we perform various experiments to investigate these effects and attempt to establish evidence to support the use of respiratory physical therapy in the ICU setting. This study reviews the subjects, methods, contraindications, precautions, and the effects and evidence to support the application of respiratory physical therapy in the ICU setting. |
