| 内容記述 | 方言研究において言語地図の重要性はよく知られている。しかし，言語の分布だけが注目され，地形や道などの影 響を考慮した言語地理的なアプローチは十分になされていない。本論文では，まず，日本言語地図（LAJ）における 位置情報の扱いについて概観し，その位置情報から経度緯度になおす考え方を解説した。次にLAJ のデータを使って GIS で３つの違う地図に重ねた言語の分布図を作成した。そこから，GIS で言語分布図を描く有効性について述べ， 最後に，方言研究でGIS を利用するための障害について議論を行った。基盤の地図ファイルなどの方言研究のための GIS の環境を早急に整えることが必要であるという結論を得た。 |

| 内容記述 | The importance of the language map is well known in the dialect study. However, only the distribution of the language has been noted, the language geographical approach that takes into account the influence of terrain and roads not been enough. In this paper, first, an overview of the handling of location information in Linguistic Atlas of Japan (LAJ) and explain the idea to convert from that position information to latitude and longitude. Then we create a distribution charts of language superimposed on three different map in GIS using data of LAJ. Then we describe the effectiveness of drawing a language distribution map by GIS. Finally, we discuss the obstacles to using GIS in dialect research. It was concluded that it is necessary to adjust the GIS environment for dialect research, such as a foundation of the map file. |
