内容記述 | Focusing on a young low vision child for whom the acquisition of close-proximity vision was not progressing, we performed a learning activity utilizing a closed-circuit television(CCTV)so the child could experience the enjoyment of “being able to see well” and “seeing”, as well as visually compare the visual subjects and identify differences in their details. The following results were achieved :(1)By utilizing CCTV, the child drive to “see well” and “draw” objects around them increased and the child became able to engage in activities with good concentration.(2)The child’s resistance to“ being asked something” was alleviated and the child became able to proactively engage in an activity to visually compare visual targets and select the item which was the same as the sample.(3)The child became able to acquire the basic operational method of the CCTV and scanning method within a short period of time and use them in necessary situations.(4)The child started saying “I cannot see” from themselves and even in situations without the CCTV, became able to see items at close-proximity. This activity confirmed the importance of close-proximity vision and significance of early-stage utilization of CCTVs for a young low vision child. |
