自殺のリスク評価の視点から、風景構成法（LMT）と、2つの心理検査との関連を検討した。研究1では、LMTの「構成の型」「色彩の程度および種類」と、自己評価式抑うつ性尺度（SDS）の総得点および第19項目（SDS_Q19）の希死念慮頻度得点との関連を検討した。研究2では、LMTの「構成の型」「色彩の程度および種類」と、精研式文章完成法テスト（SCT）の刺激語「自殺」および「死」への記述内容との関連を検討した。その結果、研究1では、LMTのアイテム｢石｣の彩色に｢灰色｣を用いた者が、「黒色」を使用した者や彩色しなかった者よりもSDS_Q19で高い希死念慮頻度を示した。単色で60％以上という高い出現率を占める｢灰色｣の選択には、希死念慮頻度の高い者と低い者の双方が含まれていたと推察され、結果の解釈には慎重を要すると考えられた。研究2では、LMTとSCTの2つの刺激語との間に有意な関連は見出されなかった。2つの研究を通じ、今後に向けて主に次のような課題が提出された。先行研究同様、本研究においてもLMTのアイテム彩色が自殺のリスク評価に関与することが示唆されたが、詳細な分析のためには、臨床群データだけでなく健常者データの蓄積が急務と考えられた。また、SCTに関しては、臨床実践に応用できる形で、なおかつ統計上も有用な群分けができる分類法をさらに工夫する必要があると考えられた。 |

Suicide risk assessment was investigated. In Study 1, the relationship between the Landscape Montage Technique (LMT) and the Self-Rating Depression Scale (SDS) was examined. Effect of three LMT items, composition type, drawing style (especially color usage) and hue on the total score and suicidal ideation score indicated by Question 19 of the SDS were examined. Results indicated that participants who chose "gray" as the color of the stone in the LMT had a higher frequency of suicidal ideations, as indicated by Question 19 of the SDS, compared to those who chose "black," or did not use a color. However, more than 60% of participants who chose gray had both a higher and a lower frequency of suicidal ideations. Therefore, these results should be interpreted cautiously. In Study 2, the relationship between the LMT and the Seikenshiki Sentence Completion Test (SCT) was investigated. SCT assesses how respondents describe the words "suicide" and "death." Results indicated no significant relationship between the LMT and words describing suicide and death on the SCT. Similar to previous studies, this study also showed a significant relationship between LMT and suicide risk assessment. However, more data from clinical and the normal groups are required to conclusively demonstrate the validity of the LMT. Moreover, it is suggested that statistical methods be developed for conducting practical, clinical assessments using the SCT. Implications for future research and clinical practice are discussed. |
