As a result, 150 labeled sentences associated with lessons learned were classified into 43 low, 17 middle and 6 upper class categories, which were named as “Midwife techniques”, “Midwife diagnostic methods”, “Efficacy of health guidance”, “Importance of reconfirmation of knowledge”, “Supporting breastfeeding”, and “Role of midwife in practice”. These contents included required assignments from the practice, implying that students could understand the role and supporting methods of midwives in practice. The student learned that the role of the midwife was to support development of women’s physical condition during pregnancy, to support active delivery that women deserve, and to support women’s family and opportunities to make friendships.
