本学における助産所実習の学びを明らかにするために助産師学生４名の実習記録から学びの内容を抽出し, KJ 法に準じて分析した. その結果, ラベルは150抽出され, 下位カテゴリー43, 中位カテゴリー17であり, 上位カテゴリーは,【助産師の技術】,【助産師の診断方法】,【効果的な保健指導】,【知識と振り返りの重要性】,【母乳育児支援】,【開業助産師の役割】の６カテゴリーであった. これらの内容は, 助産所実習の目的である, 開業助産師の援助のあり方を理解すること, 及び助産所における助産師の活動・役割を学ぶことに相応することから, 目的は概ね達成できていた. 助産師の役割は, ＜妊娠期からの体づくり＞を支援し, ＜主体性を支え＞, ＜その人らしい分娩にむけた援助＞を行うとともに, ＜家族への支援＞や＜仲間づくり＞であると学び, 助産師としてのアイデンティティの形成に重要な役割を果たしていた. |

Lessons learned by 4 midwifery students during maternity home practice were analyzed from their practice records by K-J methods. As a result, 150 labeled sentences associated with lessons learned were classified into 43 low, 17 middle and 6 upper class categories, which were named as “Midwife techniques”, “Midwife diagnostic methods”, “Efficacy of health guidance”, “Importance of reconfirmation of knowledge”, “Supporting breastfeeding”, and “Role of midwife in practice”. These contents included required assignments from the practice, implying that students could understand the role and supporting methods of midwives in practice. The student learned that the role of the midwife was to support development of women’s physical condition during pregnancy, to support active delivery that women deserve, and to support women’s family and opportunities to make friendships. Thus, lessons learned in the maternity home are thought to contribute to the formation of their identity as midwifes. |
