| 内容記述 | Through three steps explained in Part 1, we have made the concept of Kong Zi's Ren t clear as follows in Part 2. 1, The concept of Kong Zi's Ren doesn't belong to the category of ethics as the norm historically and traditional1'y molded in comunities, but belongs to the category of morality as the norm of self-control of man. 2, Kong Zi's Ren is the moral law of man which is applied to jun zi 君子, and composed of moral self-control and forbearance to others. 3, Kong Zi's Ren has two sides. One is the external and ideal side supposed as the idealtype of the moral law. The other is the internal and actual side as practice of the moral law. There is the essence of Ren in the latter, where the moral freedom exists. 4, The essence of Kong Zi's Ren exists in the practice of the moral law, therefore Ren is distinguished from the virtues acquired as personal values, besides it is as the foundation of the virtues. 5, Besides the concept of Kong Zi's Ren is the exceedingly moral one in contrast to Zhi 9;D that is the political one, Ren is useful to politics on the unified level of morality and politics. But it is falls behind Sheng 聖 on political utility. |
