We analyzed 49 conference reports\nand conducted category analyses and a case\nstudy.\nThrough category analyses and a case study of\nthe dialogue, the following results were obtained.\n1) The contents of the dialogue at the\nconference can be classified into five categories;\n(1) \u0027student\u0027, (2) \u0027contents of class activities\u0027, (3)\u0027teaching methods\u0027, (4) \u0027evaluation of learning\u0027\nand (5) \u0027the curriculum and the environments\u0027.\nOf these, the topic most frequently taken up by\nboth the teacher and the participants was 内容記述 | The purpose of this article IS to clarify the contents of the dialogue at the conference after classroom observations, which were conducted as part of the faculty development project at our university. We analyzed 49 conference reports and conducted category analyses and a case study. Through category analyses and a case study of the dialogue, the following results were obtained. 1) The contents of the dialogue at the conference can be classified into five categories; (1) 'student', (2) 'contents of class activities', (3)'teaching methods', (4) 'evaluation of learning' and (5) 'the curriculum and the environments'. Of these, the topic most frequently taken up by both the teacher and the participants was 'the contents of class activities'. 2) At the conference, the participants did not make many critical comments on the teacher nor offered any corrective proposals to him. 3) The results of the case study suggested that one of the major factors in activating conferences in general is that participants have prior knowledge about classes under discussion, and that they are teaching the same or similar classes themselves. |
