In this study, we conducted a literature review focusing on the practice of leisure education for persons with intellectual disabilities. The content of the literature obtained through the search was qualitatively organized in terms of the practitioners' intentions and the skills that were aimed to be acquired. As a result, practitioners' intentions were organized into \"increasing the leisure repertoire,\" \"reducing the burden on parents,\" and \"building peer relationships.\" Additionally, leisure-related skills could be organized into \"maintaining and demonstrating behavior,\" \"building relationships,\" \"participating in activities,\" and \"maintaining health.\" A characteristic feature of leisure support was that many of the skills taught were those necessary for interacting with others.
