The investigation was carried out using two QOL questionnaires, the CQOLC and the SF-36. The sample data came from 21 home caregivers and 18 hospital caregivers. The results showed that family caregivers at home are under little mental strain, nor suffering economic hardship. Factors influencing QOL were largely those relating to the caregiver's own health or the cooperative structure within the family.
