| 内容記述 | Tactile cognitive abilities and the speed of tactile information processing skills are required of the blind children, so they may be able to function in a real world. In order to assess these abilities and skills, various tests have been developed and field-tested. Among those, two of the most widely used tests, the Blind Learning Aptitude Test (BLAT) and the Speed of Information Processing (STIP) test, were selected for the present study and the past research results were meta-analyzed and summarized. The paper concludes with several suggestions, so the tests may be used in the most effective manner in Japan. | |||||||||
