The authors of this paper have developed teaching materials that allow junior high school students to understand the structure of machine learning and the process of learning by machines through programming lessons for creating AI applications. The developed teaching materials use gesture recognition based AI with an acceleration sensor built into the microcomputer board. This setup enables junior high school students to understand machine learning structure by observing and recording how data is processed and following how gestures are distinguished in real-time.
