Mesostructured inorganic-organic complexes using layered-perovskite compounds and several surfactants have been synthesized. Their basal spacings increased with increasing carbon number of alkyl chain in the surfactants. Two kinds of lamellar-type complexes were obtained using HCa_2Nb_3O_<10> and hexadecylpyridinium chloride. When using K_2NbO_3F, 2d-hexagonal-type complexes were obtained and the XRD peak originated in the crystal structure was not observed. This result suggests that fragmentation of K_2NbO_3F progresses in a reactive process. Si-Nb-mesoporous materials with bimodal pore were synthesized using tetraethoxysilane, K_2NbO_3F powder and alkyltrimethylammonium chloride. TEM-EDX measurement and IR spectra indicated that niobium was introduced in the silica framework, forming Si-O-Nb bond. However, the amount of Nb in the products are remarkably less than that of starting composition. This result would be caused by low homogeneity of reacted solution. As a result of synthesis using colloidal solution prepared from K_2NbO_3F, Si-Nb-porous materials with Nb content nearly equal to the starting composition were obtained. |
