| 内容記述 | I coducted field surveys and interviews on the situation of schools during and after the heavy rain disasters in northern Kyushu in July 2017 and in western Japan in July 2018. Due to global warming, floods caused by the occurrence of linear precipitation zones have become severe and frequent. So schools, children and their families have been increasingly damaged. Not only natural disasters, but also man-made disasters such as decline of forestry, housing development in flood-prone areas, and emergency release of dams. In either case, it was heard that they had not imagined that such a disaster would occur. Children, school staff and residents had to spend their nights in schools and had to live and study in temporary school buildings. The impact on children's psychology, life in deemed temporary facilities and school buses, was significant. It became clear that schools in the affected areas were working to care for children. | |||||||||
