Also, schools becoming members of UNESCO Associated Schools are growing in number, serving as the focal point for promoting ESD. Furthermore, the definition of \"active learning\" has gained greater importance in the organization of focal points of argument in the upcoming educational guidelines, elucidating the importance of \"voluntary and cooperative learning to uncover and resolve issues.\" This research organizes the relationship between the learning and teaching approaches proposed in ESD and active learning approaches.
