| 内容記述 | 筆者らは移動可能な簡易組み立て式堆積地形モデル実験装置を開発した．この装置は，デルタ，ファンデルタおよび扇状地の形成過程を観察できる装置である．中学生や高校生に対してこの装置を用いてファンデルタの形成過程を観察する授業を実施したところ，河口付近から同心円状に発達するのではなく，ローブ状（舌状）の形状の堆積体が放射状に堆積して地形が形成される様子を観察させることで，地形形成の理解度を深化させることができた．また，地形の理解のためにモデル実験の重要性を認識する生徒が現れた． The authors developed a portable prefabricated model of the experimental apparatus used to observe a fan delta and fan in geomorphological studies. This apparatus can generate such landforms within ten minutes, so students can easily observe the formation processes of a fan delta or a fan where sedimentation will become dominant. We used this apparatus for secondary school science classes, and the results suggested that the apparatus helps explain the formation processes and the importance of fan deltas to students. |
