Investigation\nitems : (1) Basic patient information, (2) blood specimen (a biochemical examination), (3) sBP/dBP, body\nweight, BMI (kg/m2), (4) drug intake, and (5) eGFR. Analysis methods : The Mann-Whitney U test, an\nχ2-test and a multiple logistic regression analysis were performed. In total, 30.1％ of the patients were\ndiagnosed with MetS following transplantation. This rate is higher than the onset in the general Japanese\npopulation, but lower than that in renal transplantation patients in Western countries. The following pretransplantation\nfactors were associated with the onset of MetS after transplantation : high BMI ;\ndyslipidemia and after transplantation, body weight increase, and hyperuricemia.
