A paper-based questionnaire survey was conducted on the students\nwho are not in the Course for Special Needs Education Teachers (students in general education) but took the\ncourse, both at the start and the end of the course. Comparison of findings at the start and at the end shows a rise in\nknowledge and interest in disabilities and persons with disabilities and in learning incentive regarding these\nsubjects. Motivation to acquire teaching certificate for a special needs education schools also grew. Furthermore,\nresults suggest that the course achieved a measure of success in realizing its goals of imparting greater\nunderstanding of the distinctive features of disabilities and support required, cultivating awareness toward\ndevelopment of an \"inclusive society\" and increasing understanding toward inclusive education and special needs\neducation.
