内容記述 | Due to the revision of the educational system for children with disabilities in 2006, children with learning disabilities and with attention deficit hyperactivity disorders are now eligible to attend the resource room, resulting in the growing number of pupils of the resource room. However, the resource rooms at junior high schools are not as established as those of elementary schools, and they are not well understood by the school staff members themselves. In this study, the authors carried out investigations on open classes to deepen the understanding of junior high school teachers to resource rooms. Open classes were conducted twice and the views of the participants expressed freely were analyzed by the KJ method. The results showed that teachers were able to see the progress of students and their understanding also deepened. It was confirmed that open classes of the resource room are an effective means of promoting the understanding and raising awareness of these classes. Based on these results, the challenges met in deepening understanding of the resource class in the future were reviewed. |
