本研究は, アルコール依存症に関するリテラシーとソーシャル・キャピタルとの関連性を検証した. 調査は秋田県N 市の20歳以上の全住民880人を対象に行い, 対象地域の人口に対する有効回答率は69.1％であった.従属変数としてアルコール依存症に関するリテラシー＜症例の理解＞＜治癒の可能性＞＜症例への対応＞と飲酒習慣, 飲酒量, 独立変数として基本的属性 (年代, 性別), ソーシャル・キャピタル＜社会的サポート＞＜信頼＞＜互酬性：社会の責任感・挨拶＞との関連について, ロジスティック回帰分析を行った. リテラシー＜治癒の可能性：ある＞には, 肯定的なソーシャル・キャピタル＜社会的サポート, 信頼, 互酬性：挨拶＞と関連していた. リテラシー＜症例への対応：相談以外の対応＞には, 互酬性＜社会の責任感：ない＞が, 飲酒習慣・飲酒量が多いことには互酬性＜社会の責任感：ない＞が影響していた. リテラシー＜症例の理解＞とソーシャル・キャピタルとの間には関連が無かった. |

The relationship between social capital and literacy associated with alcohol dependence among community residents was investigated. A questionnaire survey was conducted targeting all inhabitants over 20 years old living in a community in N city in Akita Prefecture (N＝880), and the response rate was 69.1％. A regression analysis was conducted regarding the literacy of alcohol dependence (including the cognition and attitude of alcohol dependence, and the possibility of receiving appropriate treatment) and alcohol-related behavior as the dependence variable, and the attributes and social capital (including social support, trust, and reciprocity) as independent variables. The results indicated that the literacy of alcohol dependence (the possibility of receiving appropriate care) related positive social capital (including social support, trust, and reciprocity : exchange greetings), and the literacy of attitude of alcohol dependence except for consultation related reciprocity (a sense of no social responsibility). The amount of alcohol consumption was affected by reciprocity (having a sense of social responsibility). The literacy of cognition regarding alcohol dependence was therefore found to not be affected by social capital. |
