| 内容記述 | 大潟村干拓博物館は，開館まで１４年の歳月を要し，2000年４月に開館した．開館後は試行錯誤しながら，地域住民との協働により様々な事業を実施し，１０年が経過した．本稿では，干拓博物館の設立の経緯と今までの事業展開を整理した上で，地域住民との協働の観点から，開館前の準備段階と開館後の事業のあり方について検討するとともに，今後地方の博物館に求められる運営の方向性について考察を行った．その結果，開館までの準備期間において，建設する博物館の使命が具体的に見えず，地域住民と博物館の関わり方の議論が深まらなかったことが，博物館建設反対運動の要因となったと推測された．開館後においては，博物館の使命を再検討して事業展開の方向性を定め，地域住民と協働で様々な事業を実施したことが，大潟村の博物館の存在意義の確立に有効であったと考えられた．そして地方の博物館においては，博物館資料だけでなく地域の様々な資源について，地域住民とともにその価値を創出することが必要であり，博物館を取り巻く地域社会の価値を高めることにつながると考えられた． | |||||||||

| 内容記述 | lt took fourteen years to found Polder Museum in Ogata Village, Akita Prefecture. Since opened at April, 2000, the museum put many projects with Ogata village inhabitant into practice after repeated trial and error, and ten years passed. ln this paper，the establishment process of Polder Museuｍ and it's works until now are organized, the preparation for opening museum and activity after opening are discussed in a viewpoint of coproducting with regional people, and the problem is considered that the course of management in museum needed in Japanese regional area. As a result, the following conclusions are showed. Mission of the museum was not given clearly, and argument with resident for cooperation works in new museum was not enough. So Ogata people moved against establishing Polder Museum. After opening, the mission of museum was examined again and the course of museum project was decided. These actions are very effective in building up the meaning of Polder Museum in Ogata Village. lt is needed that museum in Japanese regional area create the worth of museum and re gional materials with residents，and that action leads the worth of society surrounding museum to be greater． | |||||||||
