特別支援学校のセンター的機能へのニーズは急速に高まり，中心的役割を担う特別支援教育コーディネーターへの期待は大きい．一方，特別支援教育コーディネーターが抱える課題も多い．本研究では，特別支援学校のセンター的機能における特別支援教育コーディネーターの実践を整理・考察し，実践のポイントを明らかにすることを目的とした．稲川養護学校への支援依頼は年々増加し，特徴的取組は知能検査の実施と特別支援学級への支援である．実践のポイントは地域の特徴と特別支援学校の資源・機能を生かすことである． |

ln face of growing demand for special schools to function as special needs center, expectations are high toward the special needs education coordinator to play the principal role in the center. On the other hand, there are many issues involved in the coordinator. The research focused on organization and observation of action by the special needs education coordinator in fulfilling the function as service center and identified key points in coordinator action. With requests to the school growing steadily each year, the distinctive activities implemented are intelligence assessment and assistance to special education classes. The key point is effective utilization of the distinctive features of the community and of the resources and functions of the special school. |
