In Akita, there had been no such HIV counseling system until the AIDS Core Hospital system was introduced, which was equipped with HIV counseling system for HIV affected people. This HIV counseling system has made a great progress through cooperation and collaboration of the Core Hospital physician, a prefectural office staff and a clinical psychologist (HIV counselor). Along with the HIV counseling system, seminars on HIV and HIV counseling, events on HIV understanding and prevention, and HIV prevention educational programs were held in Akita. It is important for care providers to understand each other’s specialty, to have good communication among them, and to make an assessment of the community where they are working with HIV positive people. Community assessment is necessary for developing HIV counseling system, delivering comprehensive care, having seminars and training young counselors. Though there is small number of HIV positive cases in Akita, it is stressed that early control, including HIV counseling, would make a great benefit not only to HIV positive people but also to the community.}, pages = {53--61}, title = {秋田県におけるHIVカウンセリングの構築と展開 : 地方における地域心理臨床の実践}, volume = {69}, year = {2014} }
