POMS では二つの部位ともにネガティブ気分が緩和された.4. ST-CAS 得点では, 罨法部位の違いによる差はなかった.以上のことより, 就床患者の排便を促すための温罨法は, 腹部でも腰背部でもともに腸蠕動を促進する援助であり,罨法貼用部位は対象の状況を考慮して選択してもよいことが示唆されたといえる., The purpose of this study was to evaluate whether the site to which a hot compress was applied would make a difference in promoting defecation. Hot compresses were applied to the lower back and abdomen of each of the 11 subjects, all of whom were healthy women. The temperature of each compress, which consisted of three layers of face towels warmed in a towel steamer unit, was adjusted to the appropriate degree below 50 ℃ for each 10-minute application. Pre-treatment and post-treatment data on skin temperature, bowel sounds, profile of mood states (POMS), and short-term constipation assessment scale (ST-CAS) score were collected and compared. The results obtained are summarized below. 1. Abdominal skin temperature during the hot compress treatment was higher (p= .0356). Skin temperature on the lower back was significantly higher (p= .0085) 25 minutes after the treatment. 2. There was no difference in the average value of the bowel sounds in the abdomen and low back sites. However, the amplitude of the bowel sounds of each site became larger compared with that before the hot compress was applied. 3. Post-treatment profile of mood states (POMS) scores reflected improvement in negative mood after the hot compress was applied to the abdomen and lower back. 4. There was no difference in ST-CAS score regardless of the application site. We propose that the application of a hot compress either on the abdomen or lower back can promote defecation in bedridden patients. The results also suggest the optimum application site can be chosen in consideration of the individual's condition.}, pages = {87--96}, title = {排便援助における温罨法の部位の検討 : 腰背部と腹部における比較}, volume = {21}, year = {2013} }
