| 内容記述 | The number of students is decreasing due to the declining birthrate. Small high schools are taking various measures to survive. We will consider the current situation and issues in Akita Prefecture, referring to the efforts of high schools in other prefectures. Some high schools in other prefectures have succeeded with support from local government. The main efforts are to make high schools more attractive and to realize career paths. This is a serious problem in Akita as well, but inquiry-based learning based on local themes is making a significant contribution to students' growth. Inquirybased learning also contributes to students' advancement to higher education. |
