| 内容記述 | 本研究は協働や対話によって，洞察を要する問題の解決が促進されるか否かについて検討した。洞察問題として，図形パズル「タングラム」のLion課題とDuck課題を使用した。参加者はペアを組むか（協働条件）もしくは単独（個人条件）で，課題のシルエットを見てタングラムの７個のピースを同じ形に配置するよう求められた。検証に十分なサンプル数を確保するため，著者が行った過去の実験と新規データを統合し，メタ分析を実施した。協働条件の正答率と個人条件の正答率のオッズ比を算出し，条件間で正答率に差があるか比較した。協働条件の正答率は個人条件よりも高かったが，95％信頼区間の上限を超えなかった。さらに，理論的な修正値として個人条件の参加者がペアを組んで問題解決に取り組んだと仮定して正答率を求めた。結果は，協働条件の正答率は個人条件の修正値正答率よりも有意に低かった。この結果は協働が洞察問題の解決を阻害する可能性を⽰唆した。 | |||||||||

| 内容記述 | This study examined whether collaboration and conversation facilitate problem-solving requiring insight. The problems used in the experiments were a lion or a duck task of a geometric puzzle game “Tangram”. Participants were either paired (collaborative condition) or alone (individual condition). They were asked to look at a silhouette of each task and allocate the seven pieces of the Tangram in the same shape as the silhouette. To ensure a sufficient sample size, a meta-analysis was conducted, merging previous studies conducted by the authors with new data. Odds ratios for successful performance in the collaborative condition and the individual condition were calculated and tested if there was a difference in correct solution between the conditions. The correct solution rate in the collaborative condition was higher than that in the individual condition, but did not exceed the upper limit of the 95% confidence interval. In addition, theoretically modified correct solution rates were calculated assuming that participants in the individual condition collaborated in pairs to solve the problem. The correct solution rate in the collaborative condition was significantly lower than the modified rates in individual condition. This result suggested that collaboration inhibited insight problem-solving. | |||||||||
