| 内容記述 | The research attempts to compare and analyze college students' level of satisfaction with educational opportunities, especially focusing on linguistic and intercultural aspects, through a nationwide college-level student survey. The survey has shown significantly low participation and response rates, especially from the 4-year universities. The results portrayed clear dissatisfaction towards the universities’ ability to nurture and utilize foreign language, lacking practical and interactive sessions. Simultaneously, all three categories, national, public, and private university students have consistently displayed a high level of absence in on-campus cross-cultural interaction. An active, hands-on learning method, such as content and language integrated learning (CLIL) style has been showing promising results during the research period, which could play a pivotal role in enhancing linguistic and cross-cultural communication skills. The survey only focused on students enrolled in the conventional, face-to-face schools, which adversely excluded ever-growing online-based university students in the nation, which will remain as a topic for future research. | |||||||||
