インターネット天文台はコンピュータと理科教育を有益に結び付ける魅力的な施設であり,教育利用に対して有効であるといわれてきた。我々はこれまでもインターネット天文台を利用したさまざまな教育実践を行っており,その有効性を再確認してきた。しかしインターネット天文台を情報教育の観点から利用した教育実践がほとんどなされていない,低年齢層に限られた利用しかされていない,という問題点がある。さらに感覚情報を欠いているため臨場感が無く,理科教育設備としても不満があるという欠点も顕著になってきた。本論文では情報教育の観点からのインターネット天文台の利用,小学生と大学生というまったく異なった年齢層に対する教育利用について報告をおこなう。また感覚情報を利用したインターネット天文台の改善についての実践事例,及びアンケート調査結果の紹介もする。最後にこれまでの結果を踏まえた,今後のインターネット天文台の教育利用の方向性についても提案をおこなう。 |

Internet astronomical observatory is an attractive facility that combines computer and science education profitably, and its effectiveness to the educational use is well known. We have executed many educational practices for using the Internet astronomical observatory, and reconfirm its educational effectiveness. However, there remain problems that the educational practice by using Internet astronomical observatory is not performed from the viewpoint of information education, and is limited to low age groups. In addition, a disadvantage that the Internet astronomical observatory lacks sensory information has been gradually remarkable. In this paper, we report on the educational practice from the viewpoint of the information education, and the application to quite different age groups such elementary school students and collage students. We also report on the improvement of the Internet astronomical observatory by utilizing sensory information, and the results of questionnaire survey concerning these improvements. We finally discuss the future of the development of the Internet astronomical observatory. |
