The analysis of the results revealed the following findings. (1) The larger the school size, the less contribution administrative staff may make to the staff development ; on the other hand, the committee may make a greater contribution. (2) Novice directors tend to feel that staff development sessions have not been successful for deepening knowledge in the professional field ; thus, the luck of knowledge has to be compensated for by referencing to professional publications. (3) The areas where the respondents reported needing to develop include material development, subject knowledge, and understanding students, in particular. (4) The expectation of the participants changes as years go by (5) The teachers request more opportunities to attend in-service teacher training courses, such as the ones that are offered by the Educational Center of the university, and likewise they reported they need support from school principal as well as vice-principal.
