中学校理科第2分野の単元「自然と人間」における新規の理科教材「簡易エコボール教材(50分3コマ分)」の開発を行った.エコボールとは閉鎖生態系としての地球をモデル化したもので,群馬県立自然史博物館で1996年に作成されたものであり,透明球形のアクリル容器の中に砂,水,空気,生物をいれて密閉し照明をあてたもので,密閉後は外から餌を与えることや空気の流通は不可能となり,そのまま放置する.このエコボールに近いもの(以下簡易エコボール)を中学生が実際に自分達でつくり観察することによって「自然と人間」を学ぶことのできる教材を開発し,実際に実践した.授業実践は,秋田市内の中学校の3年生lクラスを対象に50分の授業を3回実施した初回はエコボールの説明を行い,エコボールのように生物が生き続けるためにはどんな条件が重要かを予想してもらった.2回目では中学生自身に簡易エコボールを作成してもらった.その後24日間簡易エコボールの様子を観察・記録してもらった.3回目では簡易エコポールの各班の観察結果から,生物に適した環境条件を考えてもらい,バランスが重要なことを伝え,さらに簡易エコボールの環境と地球環境を連動させた.授業後のアンケート調査結果から,開発した教材が十分有効であることが示された. |

The new science teaching aid "simple eco-ball teaching aid(50minutes,three times)" in the unit of "the nature and the human " in the junior high school science 2nd field , was developed. The eco-ball firstly was made in Gunma Museum of Natural History in 1996. It is a closed eco-system and a model of the earth. There are some plants and fresh water animals(fishes , shrimps , snails , etc )in the eco-ball. In this study we report the development and practice of " simple eco-ball teaching aid" which the junior high school students made themselves and learned the unit of "the nature and the human. Three times of the class practices (50minute/time) targeting the 3rd grade 1 class of junior high school of Akita city, were executed. In the first time , explanation of the eco-ball was given. And students did think the environment of the eco-ball. In the second time , students made the simple eco-ball themselves. After that , students observed and recorded the circumstances of the simple eco-ball during 24 days. In the third time , students had been thinking of the environmental condition which is suited for the living thing in the simple eco-ball by results of the records of the simple eco-ball. Then , students learned that balance is very important and simple eco-ball is likely to the earth. From the questionnaire survey results after the teaching , the new science teaching aid which was developed here sufficiently being effective was shown. |
