| 内容記述 | 作業療法での在宅・福祉用具への関心を広げ、教育目標を効果的に達成するため、平成17年度より専門教育と並行して、希望者に住環境コーディネーター2級資格取得受験を補助教育としてとりいれた。 平成17年度から20年度までに学生の94%が受験し、ほぼ100%の合格率であった。受験学習は、短期集中で実施するためグループ学習で実施した。 そこで、この補助教育の効果を検討するために、平成17年度から19年度の受験者50名にアンケートを実施した。その結果、61%が講義や臨床実習で役立つ。また、資格受験なので少し学習負担がある。94%の学生が住まいへの関心も高くなった。しかし、受験するためのグループ学習は良かった51%、あまり良くなかったが21%いたので、学生の勉強法の配慮、進行についてもう少し介入するなどの検討も必要であった。 作業療法教育の中で、福祉住環境コーディネーター2級受験の取り入れは、教育効果も高くなることが示唆された。 Akita University's Department of Occupational Therapy is oriented toward helping students qualify as occupational therapists, but its interests have broadened to housing and aids for the elderly and disabled. To more efficiently meet its educational goals, the Department began offering, along with the requisite specialized instruction, supplementary instruction in taking Level 2 of the Residential Environment Coordinator for the Elderly and Disabled Exam. Students wishing to take the exam can do so starting in 2005. From 2005 to 2008, 94% of students took the exam and almost 100% passed. Preparation was done through group activities in order to provide a short, intensive course on material covered by the exam. In order to study the effectiveness of this supplementary instruction, 50 students who took the exam from 2005 to 2007 were surveyed. Sixty-one percent of the students responded that the instruction helped with their coursework and clinical training. In addition, although studying was a burden since the exam was a qualifying exam, the burden was not substantial. Additionally, 94% of students had an increased interest in residential environments. While 51% thought studying in groups to prepare for the exam was helpful, 21% thought it helped little. Finally, it's clear that some steps to attend to students' test preparations and gauge their progress must also be studied. Results suggested that incorporating the taking of Level 2 of the Residential Environment Coordinator for the Elderly and Disabled Exam as part of occupational therapy instruction, increased the effectiveness of the instruction. |
