The Calman Hine report into cancer services (1995) recommended that rehabilitation should from an integral part of care from diagnosis onwards. \"Fulfilling lives – Rehabilitation on palliative care\" issued by the National Council for Hospice and Specialist Palliative Care Services (2000) also made an impact on palliative care circles.
